Well-aligned, strong posture is important to overall health. Our bodies were designed to move and life is full of motion. The truth is when you’re in pain, you move differently, steering clear of those movements that cause increased pain. However, if you strengthen postural alignment, it helps you avoid pain, muscular fatigue, and undo stress on spinal tissues.

In today’s technological society, we spend a significant amount of time each day sitting, bent over a computer, cell phone, or tablet. This compromises and weakens spinal ligaments and musculature causing poor postural alignment which contributes to many chronic pain syndromes. Back pain, neck pain, and joint pain are often the result of weakened posture.

When we train our bodies to be well-aligned with strong posture, it creates a motion cycle that produces an even stronger, well-aligned posture. This strong motion cycle, then produces more effective exercise and strengthens your ability to move better overall. When looking to improve overall health, quicker recovery from injury, or aging well, it is good to remember that well- trained postural alignment is a key to success.
